EMSELLA - NON- SURGICAL

The EMSella Chair for Overactive Bladder and Urinary Incontinence

FDA-APPROVED, NON-INVASIVE, NON-PHARMACEUTICAL

WHAT IS EMSELLA?

It’s a chair you sit on for 30 minutes (while remaining fully clothed) that simulates more than 10,000 kegel exercises to tone your bladder and pelvic floor muscles. It sounds simple, and it is: no surgery, no medication and completely non-invasive.

WHAT CONDITIONS DOES IT TREAT?

Overactive Bladder

This very common bladder problem causes both urgency and frequency of urination that result in too many trips to the bathroom. Sometimes women feel such a strong urge to urinate that they cannot make it to the bathroom in time, and end up wetting themselves.

Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI)

This common and disruptive condition causes women to leak urine when they cough, sneeze or exercise.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

While remaining fully clothed, women sit on the EMSella chair for about 30 minutes. EMSella uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic technology to stimulate all the deep muscles of the pelvic floor. During the brief treatment, muscles contract in response to the electromagnetic stimulation, producing the same result as doing 10,000 kegel exercises.

DOES IT HURT?

“I can best describe it as a “strange” feeling. I could feel the contractions like a pulling or tugging on the pelvic floor. The contractions were quite strong, but it did not hurt. I found it to be comfortable and very simple. I could easily carry on a conversation or read during the treatment. There was absolutely no downtime, and I resumed all of my regular activities immediately.” ~ Billie R
